Metro Transit will implement a quarterly service change on Monday, December 2, 2024. This service change will improve MetroBus service frequency and coverage across several routes, including 14 routes in Missouri and 4 in Illinois. Illinois will also see the addition of a new MetroBus route, #23 SWIC.

December Service Change Open Houses:
Metro Transit will hold multiple public open houses before the December service change is implemented. This is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the service change as well as to share feedback. The following open houses are planned for September and October:
- September 30, 2:30-5:30 p.m. at Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center
- October 1, 2:30-5:30 p.m. at Riverview Transit Center
- October 2, 2:30-5:30 p.m. at North County Transit Center
- October 3, 2:30-5:30 p.m. at N. Hanley Transit Center
- October 5, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at North County Transit Center
